During a recent visit to Home Depot, my brother-in-law had an exchange with the register clerk. Long lines and a grumpy attitude led to the heated back-and-forth. After the clerk made a disparaging remark, he responded: Don't be so condescending.
She replied: Sir, please do not swear at me.
