The proper response to seeing your wife walk into a closed* screen door is:

Laugh.

Soothing remarks are not needed in this situation.

Remember, laughter is the best medicine.

*The funniest part of the incident was seeing her face bounce back from the impact and her legs continuing to try to get through the screen door. Her brain didn't fire those "Hey, there's a screen door here!" synapses fast enough to the rest of her body.
